Vision
for the Future

FPC will be a Christ-focused missional church, reaching out to our local community and addressing the needs we find there through our talents and gifts. At the same time we will be supportive of national and worldwide needs.

FPC will minister to all ages through prayer, worship, intergenerational programs, serving each other, and the study of God’s word, demonstrating unconditional love toward each other and making everyone feel valued, secure, and accepted. Recognizing that our more traditional worship appeals to a senior population, we will build on our current strengths in that area, not losing sight of the challenge of adapting to meet the needs of younger generations.

FPC will make it a priority to welcome, listen to, and engage all members and guests, celebrating our diversity as we unite in Christ and participate in HIS Church.

FPC will commit to support our leaders, both lay and ordained, through diligent prayer, on-going training and clear communication of expectations. Open communication will also be encouraged to flow from leaders to the congregation.

FPC will be ever mindful that we are Christ’s Church, and we will look to the Bible to direct our worship, service to others, programs, and Christian education.
